FAQ
▶ Symptom : The video plays only on 1ea monitor.
▶ Reason : When each monitor is set as 1 unit by graphic or matrox card, the video plays only on 1ea monitor.
In case of video on dual monitor, it is necessary for setting the monitors on graphic card control panel.
▶ Solution : In control panel of graphic/matrox card, it is necessary for setting 2 monitors as 1 monitor.
▶ Reason : When each monitor is set as 1 unit by graphic or matrox card, the video plays only on 1ea monitor.
In case of video on dual monitor, it is necessary for setting the monitors on graphic card control panel.
▶ Solution : In control panel of graphic/matrox card, it is necessary for setting 2 monitors as 1 monitor.
▶ Error message on authentication window, Warning! fopen error!
- Occurs when the Authentication.ini file is locked
- File needs to be unlocked. (Other programs are using it)
▶ Normal situation
- The locking phenomenon usually disappears after rebooting, but if the file lock is not unlocked due to a virus or an abnormal operation of the OS, the folder is no longer usable. It must be installed in a different folder.
▶ Situation of Win7
- The User Account Control level is set higly to level 2, so it is a phenomenon that asked for permission whenever deleted.. Resolve by downgrading User Account Control to a lower level not used.
- Occurs when the Authentication.ini file is locked
- File needs to be unlocked. (Other programs are using it)

▶ Please check the bellow issues.
- whether the name of file is correct (the symbol or word not supported on OS)
- whether the file exists in the route. (In case of replacing the file after designing)
- whether the file is corrupted. (In case of GOM player, it may play the corrupted file.)
- whether the file runs well on Window Media Player. (It is necessary for checking the codec.)
- whether the file runs on other media players. (GOM, KM, Quicktime and etc.)
- Try to change player type in “option.ini” from 0 to 1
- whether the broadcasting is done well.
- whether the file exists in server and resource folder of client.
- whether the name of file is correct (the symbol or word not supported on OS)
- whether the file exists in the route. (In case of replacing the file after designing)
- whether the file is corrupted. (In case of GOM player, it may play the corrupted file.)
- whether the file runs well on Window Media Player. (It is necessary for checking the codec.)
- whether the file runs on other media players. (GOM, KM, Quicktime and etc.)
- Try to change player type in “option.ini” from 0 to 1
- whether the broadcasting is done well.
- whether the file exists in server and resource folder of client.
(1) Check if the cable is connected well and there is a problem with cable.
(2) Check if the memory (RAM) is put in mainboard.
(Put out and put in again. If there is another memory slot, remove it there.)
(3) Check it the signal of monitor is same as cable’s one.
(4) Connect the malfunctioned PC with other monitors and check if there is same problem.
(If new monitor works well, it is a problem with old monitor.)
(5) Connect the malfunctioned monitor with other PC and check if there is same problem.
(6) Check if the booting starts with HDD in CMOS during booting up PC.
For example, if the first booting is ODD and the second booting is selected as N/A, there is no image on
monitor due to Quick boot setting.
(7) Check if OS supports the monitor’s resolution.
(If the resolution of OS is 800*600 and the monitor’s one doesn’t support 800*600, the monitor may not turn on.)
(8) Win 7 : Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization --> Click the tab of screen saver --> Set as None of screen saver
(9) Win 7 : Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Personalization --> Click the tab of screen
saver --> Click “Change power settings” --> Select the preferred plans as Balanced (recommended) -->
Click “Change settings for the plan” --> Set “Turn off the display” as Never
(2) Check if the memory (RAM) is put in mainboard.
(Put out and put in again. If there is another memory slot, remove it there.)
(3) Check it the signal of monitor is same as cable’s one.
(4) Connect the malfunctioned PC with other monitors and check if there is same problem.
(If new monitor works well, it is a problem with old monitor.)
(5) Connect the malfunctioned monitor with other PC and check if there is same problem.
(6) Check if the booting starts with HDD in CMOS during booting up PC.
For example, if the first booting is ODD and the second booting is selected as N/A, there is no image on
monitor due to Quick boot setting.
(7) Check if OS supports the monitor’s resolution.
(If the resolution of OS is 800*600 and the monitor’s one doesn’t support 800*600, the monitor may not turn on.)

- Run the input panel of tablet PC
Start --> Run --> "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Ink\TabTip.exe"
--> Tools --> Options --> Opening --> Uncheck the box "Use the Input Panel tab"
- Run the input panel of tablet PC
Start --> Run --> "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared\Ink\TabTip.exe"
--> Tools --> Options --> Opening --> Uncheck the box "Use the Input Panel tab"
▶ System on
- Enter BIOS > Find POWER-related menu (menu name is different for each BIOS) > Alarm part time setting
▶ System off
- Use Q-Sign installation folder\Client\PowerManager.exe
- Enter BIOS > Find POWER-related menu (menu name is different for each BIOS) > Alarm part time setting
▶ System off

▶ Since the kiosk port is connected to the inside of the kiosk PC - the kiosk body - the outside of the kiosk, you need to check the port connected to the internal PC in addition to the external port.
▶ Delete User Account Password: Control Panel > User Accounts > Remove Password
▶ Automatic login without password input: Run > netplwiz > User name and password must be entered … uncheck
